Sizing for your jackets

Should you not have access to sizing jackets or choose not to try on a sample jacket, below is a jacket sizing chart to help determine your jacket size. Note there are many variables affecting your choice—Some prefer a loose fit, others a slim fit and some underclassmen expect to grow and order a larger jacket.  Consider what you may wear under your letter jacket and if your jacket has quilted lining.  Finally, our jackets are unisex.   The best way to determine fit is by actually trying on a jacket. Remember…once you choose a size, this is what you will receive and there are no refunds.

Chest Measurements

Stand up straight, arms hanging straight by your sides. Have someone wrap a cloth tape measure around the largest part of your chest (it should go over your shoulder blades). The tape measure should be “snug”, but not tight.  Below is a chart with “suggested” jacket sizes based on chest wearer’s chest size:

MD

Sleeve Measurements

Stand up straight, arms hanging straight by your sides. Have someone start the measurement from the nape of your neck, run the tape over your shoulder and down your arm. The ending point is where you would like the cuff of the jacket sleeve to fall.   Below is a chart with “suggested” sleeve sizes based on wearer’s arm length:

XS

30 to 31"

SM

31 to 32"

MD

32 to 33"

LG

33 to 34"

XL

34 to 35"

XXL

3XL

4XL

37 to 38"

5XL

38 to 39"

6XL

39 to 40"

Always use your chest measurement for the jacket size.  Then see if your sleeve length falls in the range for that size.  If not, you can adjust the sleeves shorter or longer by either 2” or 4”.
